First light over the high peaks region in the Adirondacks. The 5 mile trek in the dark is well rewarded. Low fog rolls in over the peak foliage of upstate New York. Much to my surprise, the cloud coverage was the cherry on top. For a few moments everything was as it should be. It was truly a moment where everything fell into place. A scene I had been pursuing for years finally manifested.
