The artist recovers the Gestalt theory by taking inspiration from Rubin's Figure/Background principle of the vase, according to which some elements of an elaborate visual project are perceived in the foreground, while others, are perceived in the background, behind the figure . By creating a custom-made glass for each participants' faces, the same glass, identical in concept and material, changes depending on the facial physiognomy: we are the same, but unique by nature.
