The project "Artificial Dreams" is a reinterpretation of her dreams by a Machine Learning code. The artist has been keeping a dream diary for a few years, which she uses to recreate them as visually authentic as possible. Elina has been thinking for some time about the link between machines and dreams. What if machines could dream? Elina believes that there is a very clear link between humans and artificial intelligence (AI) in our functioning. The first sequence suggests a mysterious wandering in an alchemy laboratory with gothic vaults, going through cauldrons, vials, elixirs and candles. We are directly integrated into the dream scene, passing from a tenebrous decor to a marine and vegetal universe, then into a sober interior with a cello, and ending with a darker and more organic invitation.
