REWORKED ADV

The series began in 2019, composed of three volumes: Volume 1 (2019), Volume 2 (2021), and Volume 3 (2023) , for a total of 61 pieces so far.

DETOX is the last piece of the Vol 3 - 2023.

Each volume features a collection of advertising images hand-transferred onto Fabriano paper (24x33 cm) then reworked mostly with spray cans.

I developed this technique during my artistic research while working on a square agenda "artjournal no.2" in 2019 and I've perfected it over the following years.

The most recent works (Volume 3, started Dec.2022) are taking a more pictorial and less photographic form.

The "REWORKED ADV" serie is an exploration of the possible relationship between advertising and art, taking images from magazines and transform them into something new and unexpected, trying to create a collection that are both visually striking and thought-provoking.
