Looking outside, I see winter covering the world. Inside, a boy is sleeping peacefully in the room, oblivious of the freezing temperature out there. The room is still except for the gentle rhythmic sound of his breaths. I experience warmth within me at this point in time, as opposed to the frozen picture on my windowpane. This is a silent story unfolding, one that feels like a pause in time; it’s about a boy and winter happening at once.
