Giovanna Rigattieri is a “hybrid” artist, graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 2007 and passionate about visual and musical arts, producing work that offers intimate narratives with clarity. Her art, deeply personal and communicative, invites viewer engagement. Featured in several exhibitions, including the 2021 Exibart Prize, and a 2022 solo show “Il dito e la luna” .

Her video “Hysteria,” explores the enigma of mental illness through the juxtaposition of Venice’s daily life with historical perspectives, using sound to connect different time layers and evoke reflection on the human condition, prompting viewers to consider the complex interplay between individuals, society, and time.
