I am but a mere avatar

In this virtual world we call life

I am but a shell, a body

But my mind is free to roam and roam

I am but a shadow in the night

A ghost in the machine

I am but a glitch in the system

A glitch that's all too real

I feel like nobody, a stranger

In this world of pixels and code

I am but a fleeting image

A fleeting thought in someone else's mind

But even as I wander, lost and alone

I know that I am more than just a digital clone

I am a soul, a spirit, a being

With hopes and dreams and everything

So even as I feel like nobody

I know that I am something, someone

I am more than just a virtual life

I am alive, I am real, I am here

And even as I roam this digital realm

I know that I am not just an avatar

I am a person, a human being

With a heart, a mind and a soul, but free.
