The artist inside me is always there, watching and waiting to spark up an idea without warning, an idea I won't be able drop until I've executed it. It's as if my artistic persona has control over me, and can apply pressure at any moment. These pressures extend to the expectations that arise when your work sells for significant prices, attract the attention of esteemed collectors, and captures the attention of a broad audience. It feels like there's no margin for error, and every new creation has to be better than the last.
