This artwork was originally started in 2019 on a trip to Mexico City and further expanded and refined in 2022.

With inspiration from MC Escher's famous tessellations, "Push Through" came out of Efdot's early explorations with the Blob forming positive and negative space, pre-dating the artist's work with color and abstraction.
