Silvia Gaffurini, a graduate from Brera Academy, opened her own studio to restore frescoes and canvas paintings. Her art is an extension of her conservation work, blends art, environment, and ecology, revitalizing her surroundings. She Mixes pieces from a unique archive with manual additions, where experimentation is key to capturing the essence of her photographed reality. She has been featured in various shows, including "Tempo Vita" in Milan, earning a nod from Neutral Density Photography in New York, and "Tela d'ombra" at the Ma.Co.F.

"Tela d'ombra" contemplates Earth's fragility and the imperative of its protection. It portrays humanity fading into obscurity, supplanted by the "grafting" of historical art as a symbolic layer and barrier that also serves as a remembrance, prompting reflections on our past and potential future.
