As a travel photographer, my career has taken me to some amazing places. I’ve had the privilege of visiting stunning tropical beaches, epic mountain ranges, and barren deserted vistas. I’ve experienced bustling urban centers and joyful celebrations and festivals. All of this has given me a deep appreciation for the diversity in this world but my life as a photographer didn’t start there.

When I first picked up a camera, I was depressed, alone and struggling to get by. In my mind, I knew there was something special out there for me, I just had to find the path in the darkness. Looking back, it’s scenes like this that remind me of those times and despite the challenging road, the journey itself was beautiful. Perhaps that’s why I come back to these shots time and time again.
