I'm always searching for that 'one' photograph that represents the best of my photography for that city. This picture encapsulates that search for Tokyo, it is located in the Golden Gai in Shinjuku. Actually, I had come across this location many years ago and have taken this photo countless times; however, I was never satisfied with the outcome. There have been camera cameras, many lenses, and many different times of the day when I have come back to take this picture, but it was never complete.

On my latest trip to Tokyo, I was actually able to meet up with a few friends who began as my collectors. We ended up visiting this location and to our surprise, there was a hidden bar in the corner behind the bike in this photograph. We had a few drinks, had a few laughs, and overall had a very enjoyable meetup bonding over drinks, stories, and our love for web3. After coming out, I took this picture one more time.

Somehow, the photograph was much more beautiful than the times before it. Maybe the story behind this piece completes the photograph for me. The small bars, the overgrowth, the bicycles, the neon signs, the night...and now the new memories.
