Cristian Boiardi, a Brera Academy graduate, has been a 3D artist since 2012, focusing on cultural and archaeological heritage and augmented reality. In 2021, he joined an expert team for the “e-archeo” project, creating a multimedia platform for exploring national archaeological sites.

His work, “ The Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella” is a 3D reconstruction from the Piranesi Reborn series, showcased at PARMA 360 and the Piranesi Roma Basilico exhibition. This piece, influenced by Giovanni Battista Piranesi’s engravings, recreates the mausoleum with rich colors and textures, reviving the romantic aesthetics of the 19th century.
